I have just found the perfect place to spend time with the people I love — a snow-covered cabin in Sweden.
One of the items on my bucket list is to spend a few days somewhere in northern Europe, completely surrounded by snow. Lapland would be the dream, but Sweden, Norway or Denmark would make me just as happy.
I came across this cosy snow cabin and felt I had to share it with you. There is something about the search for simple beauty that captivates me. I can’t quite explain it — I only know that it comforts and calms something deep inside.
But back to this snow cabin: I think it would be absolutely idyllic. Eating by the fire, experiencing local traditions, and if we could go sledging too, that would truly be the cherry on top.
I love the interior — the wooden details, the high ceilings, the rustic decoration. Take a look below.

A fireplace with a hammock to lie in is something I only ever see Scandinavians doing. Here in Portugal I think we’d run a mile — but who knows!

So many details here remind me of my grandmother’s house in the village. This kind of simple decorating is drawing more and more people in — it connects us to something authentic, something nostalgic.

Eating here, surrounded by this natural beauty, feels like it gives life more meaning. What do you think of a home like this? Would you like to spend a few days here? Do you have a dream like this on your own list? Let me know in the comments below — I’d love to hear.
